I have been the owner of K2 Psych Services since 2021, following my transition from group private practice and my full-time faculty position at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. Over the course of my training and professional practice, I have developed expertise and passion working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, social skills concerns, co-morbid chronic and mental health issues (e.g., diabetes, migraines), executive dysfunction, emotional challenges, behavioral problems, difficulty navigating life transitions, and school stressors.

I currently provide psychotherapy services to help meet the unique needs of each child, teen, or adult by taking an integrative approach and applying techniques from my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). Additionally, I specialize in psychological, psychoeducational, and neuropsychological assessment services for children, teens, and adults seeking diagnostic clarification, treatment planning recommendations, and academic accommodations.

Currently, I work full-time as a pediatric psychologist at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital (MWPH) in Baltimore, MD. Within this role, I have had the privilege of creating and coordinating the Trauma and Healing Program at MWPH. The program offers comprehensive psychological evaluation, intervention, consultation, and community-based services for children and families who have experienced trauma.

My expertise lies in the field of trauma-focused services, where I am trained in evidence-based treatments such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Attachment-Regulation and Competency (ARC), the Chicago Parenting Program (CPP), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), among others.

I also serve a 4-year term through the Mayor’s Office for Children and Family Success on the Baltimore City Trauma-Informed Care Task Force, which is the first in the nation to legislate trauma-informed care. On this task force, I serve as the co-chair of the subcommittee to address trauma-informed care across medical institutions in Baltimore.
